Las 50 mejores fotos: El Concurso de fotografía para jóvenes sobre los humedales

Nos complace anunciar los 50 finalistas del Concurso de Fotografía para jóvenes sobre los humedales 2017, que recoge el tema "Humedales que nos ayudan a hacer frente a los fenómenos climáticos extremos"

Recibimos más de 700 fotografías de todo el mundo y expresamos nuestro agradecimiento a todos los jóvenes que participaron en el por la calidad y variedad de imágenes presentadas. Los jueces y la Secretaría de la Convención de Ramsar anunciarán en breve el ganador del concurso fotográfico, incluyendo a los seis finalistas altamente recomendados.

El ganador del concurso recibirá un vuelo gratis por cortesía de Star Alliance Biosphere Connections para visitar un Humedal de Importancia Internacional (Sitio Ramsar) .
 

El concurso de fotografía se organizó del 2 de febrero al 2 de marzo de 2017 para conmemorar el Tema Mundial de los Humedales 2017, Humedales para la reducción del riesgo de desastres y estaba abierto a cualquier persona de 18 a 25 años.

Los jueces

Olivier Robert is a Belgian Fine Art photographer based in Switzerland, Geneva. He started photography at the age of 15. He also discovered Asia 30 years ago. This intense experience has drastically affected his way of life and his vision of the world. In 1995, he graduated from the Institute of landscape architecture in Belgium. From then on, he has devoted his work almost exclusively to water in landscapes using mainly long exposures. The influence of the man-made objects over the waterscapes in an important feature of his work.

He has carried out several photography projects about Lakes, Coastlines and Wetlands from lake Geneva in Switzerland to lake Biwa in Japan.

He has produced an important collection of prints throughout his 20-year project about these lakes that have been exhibited and published many times in France, Switzerland and Japan.

Vitalis  Hirschmann grew up in Bern, Switzerland and moved to Lausanne for studies in Robotics. Today he is developing autonomous systems for remote tank monitoring.

Besides studies and work Vitalis was always active as freelance photographer. He loves to have a second view on his daily surroundings as well as telling visual stories about his hikes and backcountry camping in the Swiss Alps or abroad.
