Himachal Pradesh State Wetlands Authority under Himachal Pradesh Council for Science, Technology & Environment (HIMCOSTE) celebrated World Wetlands Day at Pong Dam Wetland (Ramsar Site). This event was organised in association with Himachal Pradesh Education Department and Himachal Pradesh Forest Department. Various activities like Painting Competition, Cleanliness Drive, Bird Watching were organised. A guest lecture on value and importance of Wetlands was delivered by Mr. Ravi Sharma, Scientific Officer (HIMCOSTE).
