River restoration: a multi-perspective approach
viernes, 2 de febrero de 24
The workshop aims to present the results of a scientific project and connect to stakeholders involved in river restoration. The project studies riparian wetlands located in the Lower Danube River floodplain in Romania and Bulgaria and along one of its tributaries. The presentations are focused on the effectiveness of restoring these wetlands from multi- scientific perspectives (geography, hydrology, climatology, ecology, anthropology). A debate between various stakeholders on the definition of the ”effectiveness” of restoration is expected.
