World Wetland Day celebration

PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST AND EXHIBITION ON Nirmala Wetland Conservation Project, Gavier Lake. Purpose : To educate and aware the general public who loves to enjoy nature, Nature Club Surat (NCS) is organising Photography Contest on biodiversity of Gavier Lake. Our sole purpose is to make people know about our neighbouring wildlife and the habitat which is quite important for our city and the green cover. Nature Club Surat is non-governmental organisation active from last 35 years, working for nature conservation and education and handling various projects in the field of nature and wildlife conservation, which can be helpful to protect our eco-system. With such purpose team of NCS volunteers have taken an initiative of conducting a photography contest on the biodiversity of Gavier Lake. More information is as mentioned below. CATEGORIES 1. WETLAND BIRDS OF GAVIER LAKE 2. BIODIVERSITY OF GAVIER LAKE (OTHER THAN BIRDS i.e Mammals, Insects, Spiders, Trees etc) 3. CREATIVE NATURE PHOTOGRAPHS OF GAVIER LAKE (Landscape, Sunset, Sunrise, Silhouettes, Pattern etc.) RULES 1. PHOTOGRAPHY -> There is two age group categories : 1. Below 18 2. Open (Above 18) • Participant can submit maximum 5 images for each category. • Photographs must be taken at Gavier Lake. • Email your photographs and contact number on below mentioned email address. [email protected] -> Picture profile • Send high resolution images (minimum 2000 pixel on longer side) • File must be in *.jpeg and picture profile should be sRGB at high quality. • Minor post processing is allowed, limited to acceptable range of color correction, cropping etc. • Follow the below mentioned formate while naming of your photographs GavierPhotoContest_YourName_Below18/Open_CategoryNumber(1,2,3)_ImageNumber(1,2,3,4,5) i.e GavierPhotoContest_XYZ_Open_1_1 2. EXHIBITION • For exhibition participant has to submit at least one photo in hard copy (SIZE 12*18) at given address. ✓ There is no entry fee. ✓ Commercial use of any images will not be done except promoting event as well as Gavier Lake, Nature Club Surat. ✓ Image copyrights will remain to the photographer, and due credit for the images will be given to the photographers. ✓ Nature Club Surat reserves the right to make changes to the contest policies at any time without notice or withdraw the contest entirely.
