*World Wetland Day Celebration* Nature Club Surat and Drashtikon jointly organize World Wetland Day on 2nd February @ 7.30 am at Nirmala Wetland Conservation Project, Gavier, Opp. Airport, Surat The theme for 2020 WWD is Wetlands and Biodiversity and there can not be better place than Gavier. The wetland has more than 1200 trees and we have recorded so far 125 species of birds, 70 species of Butterflies, 12 species of mammals, 35 species of reptiles and amphibian, etc. at the lake. Participants will be taken for photo walk with interesting description on biodiversity of Gavier lake by Mr. Saurabh Desai (Wild Life Photographer) and will demonstrate how to capture the wild life without causing any harm to them.
