Popular Lectures, Rangoli competition and Poster Presentation on "Wetland and Biodiversity" at P.A.H. Solapur University

celebration of world wetland day 2020 in Solapur university Friday 7th Feb 2020 PAH Solapur University, Solapur, School of Earth Sciences, Department of Environment Science, organized Rangoli and Poster Presentation Competition on the occasion of “World Wetland Day” In our department, the prominent subject experts were invited to deliver the lectures on “wetlands and Biodiversity”. The lectures were delivered by Dr Ninad Shaha and Dr Arvind Kumbhar on the topic “Wetland and Biodiversity”. In these lectures, they shared their experience in working in wetlands. As well as their bird watching experiences on that subject their own shoot videos also showed during the lectures. The videos were related to the wetland ecosystem and biodiversity. Then RANGOLI AND POSTER COMPETITION is held by Dept. of Environment Science. In this competition, more than 40 students have participated and more than 50 students were present for these departmental activities. In this competition Miss Punam Mule, Miss Sonali Kulkarni has won the first and second prize respectively in the Rangoli Competition and Miss. Pratiksha Bansode, Miss. Mayuri Salotagimath has won the prize as first and second respectively. At the inauguration program Dr R.B. Bhosale, Director, School of Earth Sciences, were present . while distributing the prize, Head of School of Management, Dr prof. Ravindra Chicholkar was present. Prize distribution is successfully done under presidential Dr V.P Dhulap association with Mr Vinayak Salukhe and Mr Nandkishor Khune. In this activity all students, non-teaching and teaching staff were present.
